Guidelines & Governance

FabriXWork is designed for enterprise use within controlled environments. This guide outlines how to use FabriXWork responsibly and get the most value during the pilot program.

Using FabriXWork Effectively

✅ Use agents for business workflows

  • Create and automate documents
  • Perform data analysis and research
  • Generate reports and summaries
  • Create presentations
  • Fill forms and populate templates

✅ Work with local files

  • Agents can read files from your connected folders
  • Agents can create new files in designated output locations
  • You control which folders are connected and accessible

✅ Use pre-built agents from the Agent Directory

  • Browse and add agents to your workspace
  • Each agent comes with predefined capabilities
  • Agents are ready to use immediately

✅ Iterate and refine agent outputs

  • Ask agents to revise or improve their work
  • Provide feedback to enhance results
  • Request outputs in different formats or structures

Responsible Usage During Pilot

To ensure a smooth pilot experience for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

External Integrations

⚠️ Use approved integrations only

  • Connect only external tools and services that are officially supported or approved by FabriXWork
  • Integrations that may incur additional AI processing, automation, or external service costs require explicit approval
  • If you need to connect an external service, please contact the FabriXWork team first

Why this matters: Unapproved integrations can lead to unexpected costs, security risks, or compliance issues.

Commercial Use

⚠️ Internal evaluation only

Outputs generated during the pilot are intended for internal business evaluation. Please refrain from:

  • Reselling or redistributing outputs for profit
  • Incorporating outputs into commercial products
  • Using outputs for client-facing deliverables without approval

Note: Commercial usage rights will be defined in the full release license.

Data Handling

What Happens to Your Data?

Data TypeWhere It's ProcessedWhere It's Stored
Input filesLocal machine onlyYour connected folder
Agent outputsLocal machine onlyYour connected folder
Chat conversationsLocal machine onlyLocal session history
Agent configurationsLocal machine onlyLocal app storage

Data Privacy Best Practices

  • 🔒 Your files never leave your machine - All processing happens locally
  • 🔒 No cloud upload - FabriXWork does not automatically upload your data
  • 🔒 Session isolation - Each agent session is independent
  • 🔒 You control access - Only folders you connect are accessible to agents

Handling Sensitive Data

  1. Use designated folders - Connect only specific folders for agent work
  2. Review outputs before sharing - Always verify agent-generated content
  3. Don't share agent configurations - Wait for official distribution methods
  4. Report concerns - If unsure about data handling, contact your IT admin

Security Considerations

During the Pilot Program

  • Agents cannot install system-level software without your permission
  • Plugin installation is controlled (see Technical FAQ)
  • System updates should be reviewed before applying
  • Third-party programs (e.g., Python) may be required for some features

What to Watch For

ScenarioRecommended Action
Agent requests to install softwareReview the request; consult IT if unsure
Unexpected file modificationsCheck agent output folder; review session logs
Unusual network activityReport to IT security team
Error messages about permissionsCheck folder access settings; contact support
